Since 1999, Joseph has been performing as an experimental DJ and VJ using a wide and eclectic range of material (everything from early Musique Concrete to German electronica; from environmental sources to kitsch charity-shop vinyl), mixing across genres and cutting and distorting using a mix of lo-fi techniques such as vinyl vandalism and high-tech methods based on digital sampling (principally using Max/MSP or STEIM's LiSa software) and live image manipulation (nato and Jitter). He performs in concert venues, clubs and unusual sites, both solo and with other performers. Recently he has been developing a unique integrated DJ/VJ solution in Max/MSP/Jitter, called AViator.

Additional Information

Performances over the last two years have been made in London, Dartington, Sheffield, Bristol, Essen, Newcastle and Leicester.
